As Promised

Hello, wonderfuls. I am not dead, just working working working, and enjoying the summer and the outdoors in my off-time. I'm in one of those modes where I can't write at all, so I'll just skip to the good part.

Marceline, Missouri, boyhood home of Walt Disney. Here's the museum:

De Soto, Missouri. Sunset over Wal-Mart parking lot.

Richwoods, Missouri. Claims to have the grave of Touissant Charbonneau, Sacagawea's husband. (Doesn't, but don't tell them that. This Touissant, apart from spelling the last name wrong, would have been way too young.)

And, finally, St. Louis. Obligatory Arch photos.

The Old Courthouse. Claim to fame? The Dred Scott case was decided here. (They have a plaque that says "Our Bad.")

Remember the Chicago trip when I would take pictures of strangers? I did it again.

Busch Stadium. What a view, eh?

Oh, and yes, I saw some goddamned elephants.
