Aurora Borealis

We were watching scattered clouds cruise across the night sky, and all I could think about was a giant fishing boat casting out its nets and reeling them in again.

The clouds were catching stars, swallowing them up, and then the stars would wriggle through the holes and escape back out into the deep.

By the way, did you see the solar flare? We did.

I had never seen the northern lights before that night.
